Jacob Bloch’s long standing presence in Pointe Shoes began in 1932. Of Russian descent, he started his shoemaking career in Australia during the time of the Great Depression. Since then, he has accommodated to the needs of Ballet dancers by providing shoes to suit their individual needs and this philosophy still stands in his brand, today.
